Through BCP we try to reach out to as many underprivileged children as possible and help them improve their lives.”

“Since adolescent is a time for identity formation and experimenting with new things, young adults tend to be extremely vulnerable to substance abuse due to peer pressure. The problem in India is there are no sensitization programmes about drug abuse in schools. Children who cannot access high quality drugs end up using substances easily found in corner stores such as cough syrups, pain relief ointments, glue, paint, gasoline and cleaning fluids. It is important that we do such awareness sessions, as this is imperative in their overall development.”

    Mr. M. Srinivasa Rao
    (Asst. Vice President-Mfg Bataganj,Patna)
